Article 1 – Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

1. Reflection period: the period during which the consumer may make use of their right of withdrawal.
2. Consumer: the natural person who does not act in the course of a profession or business and enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
3. Day: calendar day.
4. Long-term transaction: a distance contract relating to a series of products and/or services, of which the delivery and/or purchase obligation is spread over time.
5. Durable data carrier: any means enabling the consumer or entrepreneur to store personal information in a way that allows future consultation and unaltered reproduction.
6. Right of withdrawal: the consumer’s ability to withdraw from the distance contract within the reflection period.
7. Model form: the model withdrawal form provided by the entrepreneur.
8. Entrepreneur: the natural or legal person offering products and/or services to consumers at a distance.
9. Distance contract: a contract concluded using one or more means of distance communication without simultaneous personal presence.
10. Means of distance communication: a method used to conclude a contract without the consumer and entrepreneur having to be in the same room.
11. General Terms and Conditions: these General Terms and Conditions of the entrepreneur.
